Style Me Chic: Happy Hour/Date Night
Cindy is looking for
clothes for week night happy hours with the girls and weekend date nights.
She prefers dresses or skirts, and her favorite color of the moment is coral. Lucky for her, she doesn't have a budget to stick to!

Style Me Chic: Wallet
Chelsea is looking for a new wallet that is high on fashion, and reasonable on the bank account. I made a limit of $200, because I think a wallet is a bit of an investment piece; if you purchase a nice one, you can use it for years. Her only must was a place to hold receipts and she noted she wasn't afraid of color or pattern.
available in metallic, and I also like this two-tone version

Style Me Chic: Black Tie Clutch
Jamie will be attending a some black tie events in the coming months and needs a clutch to match; one gown is red and the other is purple. She doesn't have a preference on having one that matches both, or buying two separate ones, but she'd like the budget to stay around $100 for both; slightly higher if it's something she can use more often. I kept the palette neutral, so she had the opportunity to use it for both events.

Style Me Chic: Bridesmaid Dresses
Patricia will be a bridesmaid at a beach wedding in September and is looking for dress options in pale pink. Since my maids will be wearing "petal pink" I had plenty of advice for her! She wants the dress to be a cocktail length and under $300. Since it will be on the beach, I wanted to keep the fabric light so that the girls aren't too warm, so chiffon was my first choice.
*Note the Levkoff color doesn't translate very well online, but it's a gorgeous color, as this is the color dresses my maids are wearing!

Style Me Chic: Distressed Denim
Stacy wrote in looking for a pair of destroyed jeans, that were not boyfriend cut. She's seen so many, both high and low end, but doesn't want them to look over the top. Her only requirement is that they are a good fit, price isn't an issue. I found the following styles that have a slight distressed look to them, and all are brands that I personally know to have a quality fit.

Style Me Chic: Black Tie Charity Event
Ann will be attending a black tie charity event in the coming weeks and is unsure what to wear. Since it is after work, she is wondering if it would be appropriate to wear a short dress and dress it up with jewelry/accessories/shoes. She isn't against wearing a long gown, she simply doesn't have anything in her closet and will need something quick.
My recommendation was that if she already has a short dress in her closet, it's absolutely ok to wear that and dress it up, since it is on a week night. However, if she prefers to wear a long gown, Rent the Runway is a great go-to when you're in a time crunch.

Style Me Chic: Office Holiday Party
Tara will be attending her office holiday party in a few weeks and is concerned about what to wear. She's just a few years out of college and typically dresses on the more suggestive side, but with this being her first year at the company, she doesn't want to make a bad impression. Her favorite stores are Bebe and Arden B and she must wear high heels, as she is only 5'0 tall. Budget for a complete look is under $1000. I tried to keep true to her style, while complying with the dress code. Click any photo for more information.

Style Me Chic: A New Style
Isabella is looking to change her style up a bit, with pants and flats, since she is always in dresses and heels. She really likes the look of printed pants, but doesn't want to try anything that is too bold, and outside of her current style (baby steps). She has absolutely no flats in her closet, so I provided a full range of colors and styles to give her a good start to building a collection.

Style Me Chic: Family Photos
Liz contacted me about her upcoming family photo shoot. She provided a photo for inspiration with color scheme of grays/teals/blues/whites that she wanted to try and replicate for herself, her husband and son. Click on any image below for more information, or click here for the cardigan and here for the toddler shirt.
**Unfortunately due to Hurricane Sandy, not all of ShopStyle's features are currently working, and the spread I made for her son is not showing up. I previously sent it to her for review, so she does have the information**
