Facebook is officially fashionable. Yves Saint Laurent has created a limited edition palette inspired by the colors of Facebook, which is available as of yesterday. There were only 1,650 made, and can be purchased on their Facebook page and in stores.

Hedi Slimane, Yves Saint Laurent's new creative director, is changing the name of the iconic brand to Saint Laurent Paris. Ironic, since he is designing in LA, instead of YSL's headquarters in Paris. The only saving grace? He doesn't plan to touch the logo...

Nude Pumps

I am on a hot pursuit for the perfect nude heel, at a reasonable price. While I'd be happy to invest in a fabulous designer, as a nude heel will never go out of style, I am seriously rough on my shoes, even in only a few wears! I'd be heartbroken if I ruined them, as I plan to get a lot of use out of this particular heel.

My list of requirements is lengthy, to say the least.

• Closed toe
• Closed heel
• Matte finish (no patent, no suede)
• Just enough platform
• In between round and pointy toe
• Not too tan, not too ivory
• At least 3 inches

You know what I came up with? Nothing! Nada! Zilch! I searched high and low on many a website, and still was unable to replicate these beauties below. Is it really too much to ask of Steve Madden or Aldo to knock these bad boys off?! The YSL's are my absolute fave!!

YSL: The Retrospective

Yves Saint Laurent will be exhibiting The Retrospective in Paris, Madrid and Colorado. That's right - the traveling exhibit will be on display at the Denver Art Museum beginning March 25th and running through July 8th. The show will feature 200 haute couture outfits, photographs, drawings and films. Tickets are only $22 - now if only I already had a trip planned out there...

The Illustrious Red Sole

Red soles have always had a correlation to high fashion, however, with the recent lawsuit Christian Louboutin filed against YSL, the sole won't be so exclusive anymore. After reviewing my recent posts on Louis Vuitton, she can’t justify spending that amount of money on a bag that is predominately canvas, and is looking for alternatives. Her requirements include a classic style in either black or brown. Since she is not one to change her bag often, she wants something that can be worn every day. Courtney likes being able to carry her purse on her shoulder, but would also like to carry it by hand sometimes as well.
