Fashion Star: Week 9

I was so happy to see that each designer made more than one piece this week! Unfortunately, it didn't increase the amount of pieces I longed for. While there weren't a lot I liked, I did agree 100% with who the buyers chose as the 3 finalists. Here's a wrap up of my faves...

This trench is a classic silhouette, but a modern twist with the two-tone color. Not to mention the patterned inside. Love!

New Face of Chanel No. 5...

Brad Pitt!?!  Am I the only one who doesn't think this conveys? What does this say exactly? That if you wear this perfume, the likes of Brad Pitt will take notice of you? Maybe it's just me...but I think it's all wrong. I'm not a huge Nicole Kidman fan, but even I would take her over BP.

Wedding Wednesday: My Dress

I've been to 8 different stores and tried on what seems like every gown in the city. Like most brides, I thought I wanted one style, but once I tried it on, it just didn't work. I finally decided on the silhouette that was "me" and this past weekend I went on another shopping trip, which was much more productive. Once I tried this gown on, I simply didn't want to take it off! I just kept staring, and walking around the salon and towards the mirror and it was just perfect!! Since I don't want to share a photo of the exact gown...I'll leave you with this. 374 DAYS!!!!!

Beach Bags

I just booked a cruise to the Caribbean and am in need of a new beach bag! As usual, I'm very picky and am having a hard time finding one I love. During my [continued] search, I came across some of these great totes. The "Hamptons" one comes in other cities as well, such as Malibu and Miami. A fun way to display your favorite beach!

Derby Fashion

The Kentucky Derby is all about one thing, and it isn't horses...it's HATS! This year I saw a lot of nods to the fashion of England, and hats that resembled those that were worn to the royal wedding.
