Wishlist Wednesday
I'm in need of a functional crossbody bag, and this one fits the bill! Not only is this one fashionable, it is the perfect accessory during any sort of travel (read: honeymoon). The strap is removable, so it doubles as a clutch for the evening - perfetto!

My love for NYC is well documented, so when I saw these, my first thought was "should I begin collecting beach towels?!"

Miss Wu
Jason Wu is creating a diffusion line for Nordstrom that will debut in January 2013. At a lower price point from his current ready-to-wear line, Miss Wu will be a contemporary collection with 40 pieces in the spring line. Don't get too excited about the "lower price point," as prices will range from $195-$795. Nordy's will only have an exclusive for a year, and then Wu says he plans to expand. Looking forward to seeing the lookbook!!

Wedding Wednesday: Engagement Photos
We were lucky enough to have two photo shoots, one in NYC (where he proposed) and one in DC (our home town). I loved that they were both so different - candid and posed. Here are some of my faves that we now have framed in a wall gallery...

Rebecca
I recently came across a line of jewelry named Rebecca, which is made in Italy, and absolutely fell in love! Luckily there is a store about an hour away that sells this brand, so I'm looking forward to checking it out next time I'm in the area. What do you think? Have you heard of this brand? Seen it? Bought it?

Target + Brian Atwood, Marc Jacobs, DVF and more!!!
If you haven't already heard the uber exciting news, Target is collaborating with Neiman Marcus on a holiday collection featuring 24 of the hottest designers out there! The limited edition collection will be available at both Target and Neimans, as well as their websites beginning December 1st. (Thankfully a Saturday, so I don't need to take a day off work!) Prices will range from $7.99 - $499.99, with an average cost of $60 per piece. They are forecasting mass-chaos, a la Missoni + Target, so be ready. I fully intend to be on my computer that night at midnight! The full list of designers can be found here.

Review: Kate Spade Towels
After we re-painted our bathroom, I had a difficult time finding towels to go with it. I finally chose Kate Spade's Larabee towels (light gray), and while they were not as thick as I had wanted, I loved the muted pattern. It's been about 4 months now since we've been using them, and they are beginning to discolor...similar to if they had been bleached. That being said, if you too love the pattern, I would suggest putting them in a guest bathroom or powder room that isn't used on a daily basis.

50 Shades Casting Call
Since we have all read the 50 Shades trilogy (unless you're living under a rock!) I thought I'd throw out who I'd like to see cast as a few of the characters. Do you agree with my picks? Who would you choose? I can't wait to see who they do, in fact, cast!!

Style Me Chic: TOMS
A reader wrote in stating that her dog had recently terrorized her home, which included her only pair of TOMS. She loved them, but was concerned about buying a new pair for fear of them going out of style (a la Uggs). I told her not to worry, that I was actually looking at picking up a second pair myself. While the old pair she had was very basic, she is looking for a patterned pair this go 'round. Here were the suggestions I gave to her...

essie Flagship Salon
Before I fell in love with gel manicures, essie was my go-to nail polish brand. They just opened a flagship store in NYC and I cannot wait to check it out on my next trip! The white lacquered walls are complimented by leather loveseats dyed in essie's iconic shades. Manicures begin at $34...I think it's certainly worth the splurge!
