Style Me Chic: Black Tie Clutch
Jamie will be attending a some black tie events in the coming months and needs a clutch to match; one gown is red and the other is purple. She doesn't have a preference on having one that matches both, or buying two separate ones, but she'd like the budget to stay around $100 for both; slightly higher if it's something she can use more often. I kept the palette neutral, so she had the opportunity to use it for both events.

Vita Fede
I'm pretty minimalist when it comes to jewelry. On any given day you can find me wearing my watch, engagement ring and diamond necklace. Yep, that's it. Every now and then I like to kick it up a notch, and the jewelry by Vita Fede is perfect. It's basic enough to match my current baubles, with a bit of an edge.

Style Me Chic: Bridesmaid Dresses
Patricia will be a bridesmaid at a beach wedding in September and is looking for dress options in pale pink. Since my maids will be wearing "petal pink" I had plenty of advice for her! She wants the dress to be a cocktail length and under $300. Since it will be on the beach, I wanted to keep the fabric light so that the girls aren't too warm, so chiffon was my first choice.
*Note the Levkoff color doesn't translate very well online, but it's a gorgeous color, as this is the color dresses my maids are wearing!

Wedding Wednesday
The sense of smell is so powerful. There was a specific lotion I used on a trip to Hawaii, and anytime I use that same brand, I'm reminded of my time there. Same thing with perfumes...Ralph Lauren Romance spells college days, Cool Water was my first love, Coco Mademoiselle - memories of good times with an old friend. For my wedding day, I want a new scent that will make a new memory. Did you wear a new perfume for your big day? What is your favorite perfume?

Trend: Low Pumps
I've been noticing these low pumps around lately and they are certainly intriguing. I'm a high heel gal (I feel so frumpy when in flats), so I'm not sure I'd rock these...but the gold heel keeps catching my eye! What do you think about this new height?
