- Get the sonogram results from your doctor in a sealed envelope
- Take the envelope to your local bakery and ask that they open it (after you've left, of course!) and dependent on if it's a boy or a girl, use pink or blue icing (or cake!) inside
- Invite all your friends and family over and cut the cake to determine what you will be having!
I think this is such a fun way to find out - and be able to celebrate with everyone at the same time. Even the NY Times wrote an article about this growing trend. Is this something you would do? Have you done something similar?

I'm not sure how I feel about gender reveal parties- I think they're good for other people but not me. I don't really like surprises and especially don't like them in public so I have a feeling I probably won't have one when the time comes! I do love seeing pictures from them because people's reactions are priceless!
we are definitely finding out the sex of our baby, there's no way i could wait. i want to have a gender reveal party too, that way everyone finds out at the same time
